At Zenith, 51% belongs to the PUBLIC GAS COMPANY SA (DEPA) and 49% - to foreign strategic investor (the ENI Company), who runs the management.

 

Business Challenge

In the context of the company's strategic decision to enter the Power Supply industry, the company was looking for an experienced partner to design and support its new business model with its main objectives:

  • Coverage of both its activities, supply of energy and natural gas, in a single system
  • Optimizing & further automation of business processes
  • Integrated management of Sales, Service & Marketing
  • Utilization of advanced technologies
  • Interconnection with third party systems 

The solution

To cover the above requirements, Zenith trusted, for the 2nd time, Data Communication (DC). The successful cooperation between the two companies, as well as the high level of expertise that DC has in the field of Energy, both through the implementation of vertically integrated CR projects and all the best practices it has implemented in EPA THESSALONIKI SA, EPA THESSALIAS SA and HERON were the main criterions of this choice. 

 

Energy Dynamics Accelerator, the integrated IT solution that DC has developed for the Power and Natural Gas industries, has been selected. 

 

The solution is based and built on the internationally recognised platforms, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft SQL Server. These systems are interconnected through the solution Microsoft Biztalk, as well as with the system of Billing and other systems/support applications of Zenith.

 

The Energy Dynamics Accelerator solution consists of flexible, scalable and rapidly adaptable subsystems, guaranteeing the longevity of the investment and ensuring a short ROI. It is worth noting that the solution Energy Dynamics Accelerator has been awarded the 2016 in the competition Business IT Excellence Awards in the category of "Specialized applications in business sectors".
