In the context of upgrading its IT systems, Regency Entertainment has sought a comprehensive business management solution for the Group's operations. The new system had to:

• optimize supply chain management processes
• gather all data of economic interest, generated by the information systems of its two major business units, the Hyatt Regency of Thessaloniki and the Regency Casino Thessaloniki
• consolidate financial information to produce MIS reporting through a single system
• to upgrade Management Reporting

To meet the above needs, Regency Entertainment addressed to Data Communication relying on its extensive experience and the implementation pf multifaceted IT projects. Microsoft Dynamics NAV- InnovEra (ERP) was selected for its top functionality and full adaptation to the Greek legislation, as well as the International and Greek Accounting Standards. 
Due to the project:

• The following subsystems were implemented

1. Economic Management
2. Commercial Management
3. Supply Chain Management
4. Management Information System (MIS)

• Regulatory flows for market cycle management were developed in order to complete the supply chain
• Interfaces were developed to gather financial data from all interconnected systems in Microsoft Dynamics NAV - InnovEra (ERP)
• Specific interfaces were also developed. More specifically with:

1. the existing Payroll program
2. the hotel management system (Opera)
3. Hyperion's Corporate Performance Management and Business Intelligence (BI) system of Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki

• An interface was developed with Data Entry Service from Retail Points (OTR) in Registry Casino Thessaloniki Microsoft Dynamics NAV

With the release of Dynamics 365 Business Central, Regency Entertainment leverages the upgraded capabilities of Dynamics 365 Business Central - InnovEra.
