• Establishment of the Data Communication Northern Greece branch based in Thessaloniki, with the objective of software sales and customer support. The aim is the strengthening of the company's presence in the wider region of Northern Greece. 
• Conclusion of a cooperation agreement with the PAMISOS Publishers & Accountant Magazine, Development of CD PAMISOS application, the first integrated electronic database that includes all tax, labor and corporate legislation; with automatic information retrieval system and continuous content updating.
• Approval of the inclusion of Data Communication's investment program of approximately € 1.000.000 in Development Law 1892/90 (Software Development - High Technology Systems). The approval of the investment program is given by the General Secretariat for Research & Technology regarding technologies used in software development. The purpose of the investment is the development of specialized software applications for the Greek and the international markets. 
• Creation of the "GO!" suite for small-sized businesses and enterprises that now start computerisation. It is distinguished for simplicity in operation and the full coverage of small  business standard needs. 

• Data Communication collaborates with PAMISOS publications.The aim is the developement, on their behalf, of electronic versions of their books. 

• The Ministry of Finance establishes objective criteria regarding property tax calculation. Within this context, Data Communication creates an electronic database of all areas of Greece being included in the system. In addition, the company develops the "Meridian Objective Criteria" program for the automatic calculation of property values. 

• Establishment of Western Greece Branch based in Patras.The aim is to strengthen the position of the Company in the Western Greece market, to achieve closer contact with customers and improve customer service.

• The establishment  of Data Communication SA is a natural consequence of the Company's rapid growth. The new company belongs to the same shareholders and absorbs the personnel of Data Communication Ltd. 

• Development of the new Premium product line. Presenting Premium Payroll, an innovative payroll software for businesses and accounting offices.

• The strong growth rate of the Company and the significant increase in the number of employees lead to the decision to transfer the Data Communication headquarters to a new building in Melissia Attica. 

• Presenting "Business", a Business Management solution for medium and small-sized enterprises (keeping Class A, B & C books). 

• Presentation of the application for the maintenance of Class C books Meridian General Accounting.

• Introducing “Meridian”, a special suite for accounting firms. "Meridian Revenue-Expences" for Class B bookkeeping, is the 1st accounting software in the Greek market to automatically compute the data and print successfully on tax forms (VAT and Income Taxation). The program offers accountants a significant improvement in their office productivity. 

• Establishment of the Data Communication LTD. by Panagiotis Vassiliadis (Computer Science, York University, Canada) and Zoi Douzeni (Computer Science, York University, Canada), located in Chalandri Attica.  The main scope of activity is the development and distribution of standard software products in the Greek market to meet the business, accounting and tax needs of enterprises and accounting offices. Trunk of the philosophy of Data Communication was, and still remains, the choice of the market, the in-depth study & identification of needs and the design and implementation of the appropriate computer application / solution, characterized by three basic principles:
